From the New York Times In Transit blog comes
this useful post on lesser-seen attractions in Athens. I particularly appreciate the notes on which attractions are free on certain days. When my spouse and I visited Athens last summer, we found it pretty overwhelming, so it is nice to know which places are less crowded, and which you can re-visit later for free. I hope to do a series on visiting Greece someday soon.
